Tips from locals
Counter-service asian fusion dishes with great flavor and locally sourced ingredients. Vegan and gluten free options, though servings are on the lighter side so if you're looking for volume maybe try Vietopia.
Cozy, counter-serve cafe offering health-focused fare like wraps, salads, soups & breakfast bowls.
A Bowl of Good is one of our favorite eateries. It's owned by a neighborhood family and is well known in this area for its locally sourced ingredients, delicious unique recipes, and friendly service. They have a number of gluten free and vegan options, as well as robust meaty options!
They use local, fresh food. Very tasty and reasonably priced. One of our local favorites and only 5 minutes away.

“This funky, open, indoor marketplace brings several small businesses together under one roof making it a unique retail destination and exciting shopping experience. These are the things that make Harrisonburg better. It’s true. Here you’ll find everything from local hemp products by Shenandoah Hemp Supply to locally-roasted Broad Porch Coffee. Heartworn Vintage and Charlee Rose clothing and accessories boutiques sit next to Rocktown Yarn. In this same space, you’ll also find Bring Your Own, a shop that sells reusable and non-disposable products in an effort to reduce waste; beautiful, timeless handcrafted leather bags at Lineage.”
