Tips from locals
A very popular swimming and snorkeling beach. The beach is patrolled by Surf Life Saving volunteers on week ends and holidays
Great to swim at and see sunset from before a calm return bus ride. Near bus stop rests a great ice cream shop. A few bars and restaurants to choose from. Market open and worth a stroll through on select day(s). If you need clothing or coffee/bakery/gifts, plenty of options to choose from.
See the Turtles coming up for a breath, ride a horse through the back trails and then cool of with a sea dip on horseback, spot whales in September or watch our sea ospreys fishing for their supper
Horseshoe Bay pub is laid back and sitting on the front bench overlooking the bay with friends and a cold beverage is the best way to pass the afternoon.
Markets on the second and last Sunday of every month, on the foreshore. Great range of local arts and crafts and some tasty food. A small, but intimate market.
