This is a quiet, secluded spot for hiking and wildlife. It is a county park that often gets overlooked as it is slightly out of the way. I love the solitude and hikes here.

Patricia Byrom Park is only a 5 minute drive from the property (turn left out of driveway and go for 2.5 miles.. will be on the left) and it boasts well-marked hiking trails.

SIZE 600 acres HOURS 7:00am to dark open all year TRAILS Multi-use trails for hiking, running, mountain biking and horseback riding. Trails are steep and strenuous. Little Flat Mountain Loop: 4.3 miles from parking lot, beautiful views with lots of wildlife spotted recently. For a shorter option check out the Blackwells Hollow Trail.
