This is the best way to see dolphins. Riding the ferry is free. You can get out look for dolphins. In the summer months when traffic is high it might be better to park your car and walk on to the ferry to avoid waits.

Enjoy a ride over to Port Bolivar! Once you cross over you can explore restaurants. The ride takes about 15 minutes but the wait to get on the ferry can vary depending on demand. Great way to make memories! FREE thing to do ⭐️

The best free boat ride on Galveston Island to Port Bolivar. A very nice, relaxing ride across Galveston Bay You can feed the birds at the back of the boat or watch the dolphins swim nearby in the bay.
