each that reveals some coarse sand and an extensive reef Stretching from Hannafore Point to the outskirts of Looe sits Hannafore Beach, a quiet, southeast-facing beach. It is predominantly a shingle beach with rock pools at low tide. Most people visit the beach for these fantastic rock pools that are uncovered twice daily. Road side parking.
Across the river from the town of Looe Hannafore is in West Looe and has a more laid back, quieter vibe. There is a beach, great cafe, hotel and a flat walk along the front. You can join the coastal footpath and walk to Talland Bay (approx 3-4miles, not flat!!!)
10 minutes drive. Hannafore Beach at West Looe has great views of Looe Island and is easily accessible by car. With it's long promenade and accessible sea wall, the seafront at Hannafore is a great place to spend a few hours. The beach itself is shingle with some sandy stretches at low tide. The beach is dog friendly throughout the year. These are some of the best rock pools you can find locally. A small ice cream kiosk sells nets and buckets through the Summer.
