Tips from locals
In the 17th century, the singer and bagpiper Marx Augustin regularly appeared here. You can throw coins to Liebe Augustin to get good luck.
Perfect place for schnitzel and Mozart's and Mark Twain's signatures. Also ask to see the canon ball embedded in the old city wall (now part of the restaurant structure) from the Turkish invasion in the 1680's.

“Favoritenstraße in the 10th district is a long shopping street. Near the main train station --there's lots of fast food outlets and cosy cafes and bars ,prices here are more the norm here as opposed to the more touristic districts of Vienna ,the architecture is also quite cool ,a mix of modern and old, very photogenic. A long street,an eclectic area and most definitely well worth checking out.”
