Great for pie and Mash. The Pies are out of this world, and very reasonably priced

I am not a pie person but all my friends and my partner LOVE this place, it has a diverse menu of free-range, organic pies in a restored 1700s-era shop with open fire and chintz.

A small but amazing place! Every pie is delicious, there are plenty to choose from but some of the favourites do sell out quick! All pies are served with mash and either mushy peas or garden. There are also a couple of kids options (sausage and mash etc). Please note you can also get your pie to go if there is a wait for tables! Accepts dogs.

Pie and Mash for £5 a plate - what more could you want! Well worth a visit - can buy a pint from pub across road to have with your meal.

1940's fully war-time themed cafe with war time songs playing. Unique 16th century shop. Open fire. Timber-framed. Variety of traditional British secret recipe short crust pies with mashed potato, peas & gravy. Takeaway option.
