About this place
America’s only independent indoor nonprofit zoo dedicated exclusively to birds, holding more than 600 birds. Our large walk-through exhibits allow our visitors to get nose-to-beak, including interactive feedings & meet many species rarely found in zoos anywhere else in the world.

The National Aviary, is the only independent indoor nonprofit aviary in the United States. It is also the country's largest aviary, and the only one accorded honorary "National" status by the United States Congress. Go see some crazy birds!!
