The current hofje was built in 1787 from the legacy of Pieter Teyler van der Hulst, just like the Teylers Museum close to it.

In the downtown area you will find this "Hofje" (Courtyard) along with many others. A beautiful sight to visit; can you discover them all?

The Teylershofje in Haarlem has an impressive entrance, a gate with tall columns in Doric style. It was first inhabited in 1787. The Teylershofje was founded by Pieter Teyler van der Hulst, who is also the founder of the Teylers Museum. The hofje is located at Koudenhorn 64 and is open to visitors from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.

Prachtig hof aan de overkant van het appartement. Heerlijke stilte plek in het groen.
