Owned and operated by my college roommate’s brother, Whales Bone has made quite a name for itself in Ottawa. With two locations, it’s a popular spot for locals. Known for its oysters, it didn’t disappoint.

Sister resto of Whalesbone on Bank. They have a nice patio in the back and do a great brunch

If you want seafood, go here. It can be on the pricier side but it's a nice little treat yourself while on vacation! It's small and loaded with character. They do have a sister restaurant on Elgin which is much larger and has a patio in the back. The menu is a bit different at this location but still just as tasty.

Excellent menu - great atmosphere. Small so go on off hours. A bit pricey, but great for a date spot and seafood lovers.
