Fabulous food a 10 min drive from StrongWater. Swimming at Ruby Lake with it's sandy beaches is a must!

Halfway to Eggmont , enjoy some swimming at the lake and then make a reso for dinner at the Italian restaurant - it’s a fun vibe and the hummingbirds are amazing!

Chef Aldo specializes in classic northern Italian cuisine prepared with natural ingredients, including plenty of local produce as well as farm-to-table produce grown right on here site! His menu features fresh oceanwise seafood, wild game, pastas, and salads, as well as several vegetarian options…

La Trattoria Italiana is a very popular restaurant with our guests. Rustic and romantic. We suggest a lakeside table on the patio if weather allows! Call first for reservations and to ensure the (seasonal) restaurant is open.

“We like to call this hike the pendor harbour punisher because it kind of feels like you're doing the grouse grind. The hike is fairly steep for those who want a good workout, and the views at the top are spectacular. ”

Trail
“300 steps from your suite: walk down the driveway, turn left and walk down Godkin, continue onto the cult-de-sac (Orca Road). You’ll see a sign for Daniel Point Park. There is a fairly steep trail with stone steps. Step down with care and you will be rewarded with a 3.6-acre peninsula park: walk to the very end of it and right down to the sea. If it’s windy on one side, try the other; there are many seaside places to hang out here. This is probably one of the quietest and most beautiful parks on the Coast. There are no facilities available. Lowtide offers tide pools on the rocks to explore and pink starfish; seals frequently hang out just offshore and eagles frequently fly overhead.”
