If you thought big party places only open in Berlin or Barcelona, this new activist dance club, bar, grocery store, and shop in a former barn will be a nice surprise. The look is retro and colonial, with mis-matched furniture on a checked floor. I like to go early to listen to African beats for a relaxed and chill kick-off to the night. It’s very popular, so aim to arrive before 8 pm on weekdays or after midnight on weekends. Sundays at 7 pm they host a free screening of an activist movie or documentary.
