Tips from locals
It's a beautiful café. They have conserved the old décoration. The other cofee have made some new decoration in the old fashion.
This iconic restaurant/bar is perfect for almost anything. You can have a continental breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, apero and more plus they have live music one night per week. It is open everyday nonstop.
great for slightly less expensive drinks. I recommend a kir if you're on a budget.
Bar, café, restaurant. Nice place to enjoy a drink or a quick lunch/dinner while watching the life of the abbesses quarter.
This is a typical Parisian brasserie (a kind of café and restaurant). For the area it's not too expensive and I find that locals often come here. It's got a lovely view over the square too.
Parfait pour boire un café sur le zinc le matin avec le journal sous le bras. Il règne au Saint jean une ambiance typiquement parisienne. Une adresse incontournable du quartier. Serveur très sympa ! 23 rue des Abbesses.
