If you are in the city centre and want to find a quiet spot, the botanical garden is right next to Nørreport station. Here you can visit the garden for free and pay to get access to the greenhouses.

The garden holds the largest Danish collection of living plants and also has at its disposal three gene banks. The garden is affiliated to the largest Danish herbaria collections with plants. It has a beautiful glass house from 1874 that is 16 metres tall and has narrow, cast-iron spiral stairs leading to a passageway at the top. Its an amazing view but not for people with fear of heights ;)

A unique green space in the heart of Copenhagen. Especially during autumn and winter I go here to be surrounded my green plans and trees. There is special opening hours for the green house, so check them out before, since the green house is the most amazing part!
