The Balvenie Distillery is one of my personal favorites, authentic as they come, book a tour and get driven round the estate, they only have groups of less than five, and you can even draw your own bottle of whiskey direct from the cask!

Not a winery - a distillery. There are many in Dufftown and in the locality. Choose your favourite Speyside whiskey and look up the distillery website for times of tours and tastings.
