A gorgeous beach near the Morro Rock. There are fire pits and a lovely spot to enjoy a sunset. Beautiful beach for a nice long walk.

This beach is a coastal frontage park featuring outstanding picnic sites. A three-mile stretch of beach connects the southern and northern entrances to the beach. Fishing, windsurfing, jogging, and kite flying are popular. A section of the beach is a designated dog beach.

Right across the freeway (the historic Pacific Coast Highway/ Highway One). When you get tired of simply looking at Morro Rock and Morro Strand State Beach from our balcony, take a short drive and walk the strand! Especially at sunset...

Another great part of the coastline.

This is a long strand of beach with great sand for Sandcastles and digging. Lots of people fly kites there and surfers. The north end of the beach has some nice tide pools. There is no bathroom, which I believe is the only drawback.
