Here you will find another area with good trail heads and nice views. Also has a seasonally open pool. Call ahead to see if the pool is open!

Once the location of hotels for people seeking the healing powers of the natural springs, Dixon Springs is now a State park featuring bunkhouse camping options, RV camping, 2 playground areas, picnic shelters, hiking trails, and a Public pool.

*****7.2 miles from cabin***** Dixon Springs State Park has a swimming pool to cool off during those hot and humid days. It also has hiking trails. Check out, a local favorite, The Ghost Dance Canyon Trail for a beautiful hike. As you leave the area, be sure and stop in the Chocolate Factory for some fancy chocolates and a scoop (or two) of ice cream. Dogs are welcome but must be on leashed.
