Why locals recommend it

Pike Place is chock full of amazing vendors selling crafts, flowers, fruit, and of course - fish. Wander the stalls and sample the wares. Some highlights include: Rachel’s Ginger Beer, Bavarian Meats, and Ellenos and the gum wall. Grab a Salmon sandwich for lunch at Market Grill.

Pike Place Market is a necessity when visiting Seattle. Local crafts and art are here, the first Starbucks, shops with an incredible range of stuff I can't begin to describe, amazing restaurants and street food, and amazing views of the sound and Olympic mountains, and local musicians. Not to mention the Gum Wall.

it is a place you must visit. A public market with good food, good prices, great history and good vibes.
