Tips from locals
An Athens-only coffeeshop, the atmosphere is chill and the baristas love their craft.
My FAVORITE little coffee shop. In iconic Five Points, incredible coffee and really great atmosphere.
Delicious coffee in an adorable house-turned coffee shop located in Five Points. Parking is behind the building. I personally love a Chai latte but all of their coffee is good! You'll probably spot more than one student studying here.

“Owner Chris Lloyd brings the coast closer with great seafood and a relaxing bar in an historic home in the middle of Five Points. Marker 7 oysters come from the Gulf of Mexico and shrimp from the coast of Georgia. Baked fish with grits and fish tacos are popular selections but land lovers can find sweet chili rubbed pork and bbq chicken. Depending on what is in season, Marker 7 offers special outside the everyday menu including Sunday Funday. ”

“The Pine is a favorite Five Points neighborhood dining spot for brunch, lunch and dinner. The Pine's Southern inspired dishes are influenced with global flavors using fresh local seasonal ingredients. Most dishes are baked in their handmade 100% wood-fired oven. Daily house-made pasta and burger specials, Sunday biscuit brunch, Special Monday dinners, 3rd Wednesday wine tasting and its close proximity to the stadium, makes The Pine a true gem. ”

“Local pizza joint in a fast casual setting, which features build your own pies, plus paninis, and salads. Don't want to expend mental energy building your own pizza? Try "The Nat". Named after the owner's wife, this chicken and pesto pie will not disappoint. ”
