A great place to unwind. Play golf or have a walk about the historic WWII ramparts and soak in the history of the place.

Fantastic burgers and homemade pizza. Even has movie nights on the green in the park in summer at weekend. 10 hole traditional style crazy golf next to cafe.

Park at Puckpool, then walk down to the far end (nearest Ryde) and enjoy the miles of golden sand at Appley Beach; Appley Beach Cafe is also good
