A zoo that entails all the animals that live in Iceland plus a small room with reptiles and insects. It also has a large play area and some amusement park equipment for children. Husdyragardurinn has a small shop/cafe but you are also free to bring your on food and there even is an outdoor barbecue for cooking hot dogs on. Husdyragardurinn is located at Mulavegur 2, 104 Reykjavik.

For fun with kids we recommend Fjölskyldu- and húsdýragarðurinn in Laugardalur. The place is a mixture of an amusement park and a zoo so it’s just a heaven for kids, just remember to dress according to the weather forecast.
