Tips from locals
Arguably the best low key sushi in the city! You will likely have to wait but very worth it. All the fish is amazingly fresh. You can’t leave Vancouver without having had sushi!
One of the city's favourite sushi joints. It opens at 4:30 or 5:00 and is busy right from the start. Go early and wait in line. It will be worth it! Also walkable from the airbnb - maybe 15 or 20 min?
Very popular local sushi restaurant. One of the best in town! Prepare to wait about 30 minutes or so but it’s always worth it.
One of the freshest sushi restaurants in Vancouver. Doors open at 5 pm so get there before lineup starts. I don’t think they take reservations. It can get crowded so maybe not so great with little kids. But there are other good sushi restaurants around the area that are kid friendlier.

“This is an excellent hipster coffee shop with great style, amazing muffins and sandwiches, and of course great coffee. This is a bit further from the suite (perhaps a 10-15 minute walk but worth it). ”
