This part of the beachfront is our absolute favorite spot to hang out. There is a tree-lined area of the beach just east of the sailing centre that is perfect on a hot/sunny day and offers stunning views of downtown, the mountains, the ocean and beyond. The Sailing Centre itself has a restaurant on the upper level - the food itself is typical grill style food - but the patio seating overlooking the ocean is the real reason to eat here.

Paddle boarding and windsurfing rentals. Groupon rates often available. Also one of the best patios to have a cold beer and watch a great sunset.
