A good spot if you are wanting to go to a beach close by. There is a beach on one side of the spit and a nature sanctuary on the other. Very pretty. Fort Rod Hill is on the way and I'm pretty sure there is still public access if you are interested in seeing the old artillery bunkers and climbing…
