St. Paul's Church is impressive both from the outside as well as from the inside. The 18th-century Calvary with 60 life-sized statues is not to be missed. But also inside the church, there are hundreds of statues and lots of masterpieces by famous Flemish painters such as Rubens, Van Balen, and Van Dyck. The crush is only open in the afternoon from 2 PM to 5 PM and only in the high season (summer and Christmas)

Just a stone’s throw from the Schelde river, St. Paul’s Church is a standout example of Gothic architecture, topped with an ornate Baroque tower. The interior is richly decorated in the Baroque style as well, with impressive columns, a leaf motif, and rare works of art by some of the most famous Flemish painters. While visiting St. Paul’s be sure to stop outside and admire The Calvary, a group sculpture consisting of 63 life-sized statues of angels, prophets, and other religious figures. Watch out for: the main altar. Opening hours: not sure, but generally you'll find the door open on weekends before lunchtime.
