An easy walk from accommodation, this is a beautiful park full of lovely deciduous trees right on the banks of the river. Also has a wonderland play area for children.

Its STILL free! The only large remaining family playground in the country that is open to all at no charge. huge number of items to play on from the usual swings and roundabouts to the train, pirate ship and castle (complete with Moa's) and then all the Nursery Rhymes featuring such as Old Mrs Hubbards shoe and Little Miss Muffett and the 3 bears.
