Tips from locals
Casual restaurant with on-site bakery serving creative vegetarian & vegan fare plus baked goods.
You simply can't go wrong with anything they have on the menu here! My favorites are the Warm Onion Gruyere Tart and the tacos!
If you're vegetarian, consider this place a must. It has been around forever, and for good reason: the food is creative and delicious. You won't miss meat one bit. While not vegan, there are plenty of vegan options.
Vegetarian and Vegan friendly. They are also willing to change anything on the menu to accommodate your dietary restrictions. (Example: change regular cheese to dairy free cheese substitute or remove it from item) Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also a take out bakery.

In 1974, on Chicago’s historic south side, Efren and Joseph opened the first Giordano’s in the world. We have a Giordano's in downtown Evanston!”
