Casuarina beach is one of the nicest beaches on the Far North Coast of NSW, there are great waves fro surfing and plenty of room to swim and have a picnic on the beach, very often it is uncrowded

“Want to see dolphins? Well these guys have a guarantee, if you don't see dolphins you get to do it all again for free. Paddle out from Byron's main beach and take in the views from the ocean. Once you've paddled a little way out, you'll need to keep your eye out for those playful dolphins who enjoy riding the waves with the surfers.”
