Beautiful village on the cliff tops. Also has great golf course and restaurants.
Etretat is a beautiful old town and nice to visit. Be warned however, it is a favourite with Parisians and so it is wise to avoid Saturday and Sunday visits. In the summer, it is often necessary to park in the carparks along the road on the way in - and then there's a bit of a walk to the town.
Étretat is best known for its cliffs, including three natural arches and the pointed "needle". These cliffs and the associated resort beach attracted artists including Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet...
