Picnic sites with barbecue areas. Cool and fresh pine forests even in summer. local ancient villages with tavernas and restaurants. Kolios winery where local wines can be tested.

The image shows one of three listed bridges hiding in the Paphos forest region. This is an ancient Venetian bridge set in a beautiful natural surrounding.. There are numerous trails leading from the bridge if you fancy a walk in the surrounding forest. Depending on route, the forest is an hour and a half drive each way. Make a day trip of it and visit the numerous winerys on route.

Again this is a wild place, it backs up to the Troodos too! There are many places to visit and explore! If walking is your thing then there are many set trails and at different levels. Monastries, Dam,even the elusive Mufflon.
