Tips from locals
"City on a Hill" is how the campus is described. Situated in some of the most lovely forest and pasture land in the area. Views of the bay are unrivaled.
the campus is set in the redwoods. the drives departing the campus offer great views of the city and across monterey bay. can be combined with hiking on the upper campus and/or the pogo nip park below campus at the end of spring st.
Many of our guests are here for their friends or kids attending UCSC.
The campus is gorgeous with all the trees, campus building and life situated on rolling hills. There are events there and an Arboretum.
