Cycle to the most westerly point of the mainland UK by taking a short ferry crossing from Tobermory.
A long drive but well worth visiting - the westernmost point on the mainland
The lighthouse at the end of Ardnamurchan is always worth a trip. There is a museum and you can go right up to the top of the lighthouse for amazing views. There's also a nice cafe and shop.
Ardnamurchan Lighthouse - the most Westerly point on the mainland (aside from Skye which is now linked by the road bridge). Beautiful day trip out from Lochailort along windy and narrow roads..
