Delightful pub around 20 minutes drive away, it has a cozy bar atmosphere and vaulted barn roof restaurant serving delicious pub food of a very high level. Highly recommend if you don't mind driving.

Lovely gastro pub with view over village green. About 20 minutes drive from the cottage.

About 30 minutes drive but such a good menu and a great location in another lovely village in the downs.
