Take a day and go to Sault in June and July and you'll see the iconic rolling hills of lavender that Provence is famous for. The lavender harvest usually takes place in mid-July so make sure you get there in time to see the incredible vistas of non-stop lavender.

The village of Sault (pronounced like "sew") west of Mont Ventoux is the place for lavender. If you want to admire the huge lavender fields and stroll a beautiful hilltop village you will love it.

Lovely Provençal village behing the Mont Ventoux with the best Nougat you will ever taste made by André Boyer since 1887. Only the best ingredients and all hand made.
