A short train ride out of London will bring you to Rochester in the Medway towns. A well preserved, historical town famed for it's annual Dickens festival . Cobbled streets, a castle and a cathedral make this a really nice day out.

The glorious Norman architecture of the nave, parts of the crypt, as well as one of the finest Romanesque facades in England, make this an inspirational place to visit.
