Top-rated restaurant. Small, intimate, with emphasis on local quality foods. Dinner can be pricey, but lunch menu is a great deal.

Price: $$$ Visit this restaurant to have a meal if you are hungry after gazing at Travis Park Plaza. Many guests come to taste good pork chops, beef and gazpacho. The truth is that you will really like tasty vanilla ice cream, almond cakes and chocolate cakes. When visiting Restaurant Gwendolyn, it's a must to try delicious Spanish wine, whiskey or bitter. According to the visitors' opinions, waiters offer great coffee.

Riverwalk downtown on Houston St. Ahhhh....now THIS is different. On a less-crowded area of the Riverwalk. Chef Michael Sohoki serves fresh food, hand-prepared as it was 100 years ago. Menu changes daily. Today it may be Greek, tomorrow perhaps Hawaiian. Creative, concept restaurant with local ingredients, hand-made and fresh fresh fresh. Beautiful outside view of the San Antonio River or inside where it's quiet and cozy.
