The nightclub was on the Chitlin' Circuit and hosted famous African American acts such as Bobby Bland, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, W. C. Clark and B. B. King when Austin was legally segregated. They continue to host incredible music acts to this day.

A historic center of Black music in Austin. This was a spot on the chitlin circuit in the early 20th century, and sometimes you can still catch a blues show here. Nextdoor there's a yard with food trucks and live jazz.

Just up the street a block. Original home of Austin's blues and jazz scene. Now mostly hip hop and soul venue.
