Clontarf boasts great restaurant, theatre, eateries and places to hang out. Vernon Ave is the main drag where you'll find every kind of coffee shop/restaurant and even theatre.

The beach here is known locally as Dollymount Strand and is a favourite with us when walking our dogs. You can walk right along the pier or onto the beach/sand dunes. At the other end of the beach is Bull Island, a National Nature reserve. This is perfect for walks, especially with wildlife…

On the sea-front, very nice restaurants and coffee shops, also small local theatre -viking theatre in "The Sheds" pub.
