Our favourite, a couple of minutes drive away with a large carpark (paid) or continue passed the car park and there is another car parking area which is free. A huge sandy beach excellent for swimming, surfing and bodyboarding. The beach is overlooked by Manorbier castle open to the public for a small charge. Just up from the castle is great local pub, coffee shop and restaurant with a local post office and general store.

Lovely family beach. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was filmed in the castle back in the day.

1.5 miles away from us, this beach is a hidden gem. Rockpools, surfing, soft sand and vast space when the tide goes out. Great sunset beach too
