Doniford Farm does brilliant food, we particularly enjoy their Sunday Roast! There's plenty of animals to see and a great soft play for small children.

Great place for a spot of lunch and you can pet the animals. There's also a shop selling local produce

This has changed hands several times in the last 10 years. It was a farm when i arrived and sometimes the cows would tumble down the cliff to arrive safely on the beach until they were brought back to their field!! Now in local hands again it is a small animal visitors farm with free of charge entry. There is a large ‘ham and chips’ cafe and roast dinner on a Sunday. Have a coffee and just enjoy the views over the Jurassic coastline to South Wales and beyond to the Severn Bridge on a good clear day. Visiting the animals is free and they sometimes have a car boot sale. The best bit is the car park as the local public one has now been closed due to the cliff erosion. Park here, have a cup of coffee and then spend a glorious half hour to a few hours walking along Helwell Beach finding fossils in amongst the shale or the super large ones sited in the cliff. For guiding to where they are I’ll give you some tips. Five minutes away in the car or 20-30 minutes walk.

This sweet, sea-front farm has a yummy restaurant, an animal farm for kids, a bouncy castle indoors for rainy days and a farm store and gift-shop to keep everyone happy in all weather.

Entry to the farm and animal enclosures is free. However, they do ask for donations. At Doniford Farm, there’s indoor play area with bouncy castles (small charge to use them) so the weather can’t spoil your fun! There are also small ride on trikes and cars for little ones to ride on in the courtyard. The large tea room also has a collection of toys so you can relax and enjoy some homemade food. Doniford farm shop sells fantastic local produce.
