The Kumpula Botanical Garden is an oasis of refreshment in a well-kept green city environment. Summer café Kumpu offers café services and you can also buy tickets for the outdoor garden and the manor. The geological collections in the manor are also an interesting addition to enjoying the garden. The area is open during the summer season. The Kumpula Botanical Garden is located in the historic lands of Kumpula Manor. The garden features a collection of cultivated plants that can be found in ornamental, medicinal and nutritional plants. Ornamental plants have the weight of a typical 19th century manor environment in flora. The garden also has geographically distributed park-like plant collections and water themes. The accessible area is about six hectares. Also within walking distance is Vallila's allotment garden.

Kumpula botanic gardens with lovely cafe opens in May. Even if it is close there is big public park around it.

Park and a botanical garden. There's also an idyllic summer garden park south of here, entrance from Kumpulankatu.
