Hop the ferry down to Brooklyn Bridge Park, Wall Street or Greenpoint. I actually take this to work most days; it's lovely.

Go north to North Williamsburg, Long Island City, and midtown Manhattan, or south to DUMBO and Wall Street. Either way, you'll get great views of the city without emptying your wallet. $4 M-F. $6 Wknd

Take the ferry south towards Wall Street and get a great view on the bridges and water or head north to mid town, great way to explore the city
