It's a great doggy beach. I've gone there without my dog because everyone is so friendly. There is also a no-dog section.

Visit Kruse Park to watch dogs play in the water at this dog beach. Located at the end of Sherman Blvd. on Lake Michigan. The beach is accessible by a handicap accessible ramp and boardwalkto get to the water and the dunes and overlooks. The beach is also accessible by walking south from Pere Marquette Park on Lake Michigan.
