You can walk from your door to this beach, but we recommend throwing a few beach chairs and a cooler in your car and taking them right down to the beach. When leaving Coakley complex, turn left. Take the first right onto the dirt road that runs along the giant estate. That will veer left to a number of private parking spaces you can make your base for the day.

The Pelican Restaurant is located here, close to home, great pizza/Italian food.

You can find some nice sandy beaches around Coakley Bay where you can feel secluded and away from it all while looking at the turquoise Caribbean Sea
