The warm ponds are a great place to hang out at any time, including when it's cold and rainy. There are also tide pools nearby. Wednesdays a lot of musicians come to play in the pavilion there.
Man made, volcanically heated swim pond. Not "hot", just warm. Lifeguards on duty in the day. Usually food trucks, music and lots of things going on. Park closes at sunset and parking can be tricky, but its a not to be missed spot.
Soak in a warm spring that flows into the ocean (closed Wednesdays) this is one of several stops you can fit into a busy day along with the tidal pools, Issac Hale State Park, Lava Tree and more
It’s only 1.5 miles away, but you will want to drive. It’s often hot; there’s no sidewalk; and you will want to bring gear & a lunch.
