Historic Durban Parks at the Top of Florida road. Safe and very beautiful with big grass lawns for picnic and family/romance time
A small zoo is fun for a family visit, with a good restaurant and a nice place to sit outside in the sunshine, if you've had enough of the beach.
Every day of the year could feel like a holiday, especially if you make your way to Mitchell Park. Named after Sir Charles Bullen Hugh Mitchell, the park was established in the early half of the century as an ostrich farm. That venture did not go as well as planned, so it was transformed into a zoo…
A great spot. Kids playground, tea garden, small zoo, tennis courts and a well tended park...
In the middle of Michel park this nice sweet ZOO. Have a coffee or lunch at the Blue Zoo restaurant.
Beautiful gardens with great play areas for the kids. The small zoo has birds, crocodiles, tortoises, marmosets etc... Blue Zoo Cafe has a pianist on the weekend and serves good food.
12 Minute Drive. Zoo featuring a variety of small animals, plus an aviary, a playground, a tea garden & more.

“Mini Town is one of Durban's most well-known tourist attractions. It was first established over 30 years ago. Mini Town gives a good impression of some of Durban's landmarks in a 1:24 scale. A walk around mini town will give you an opportunity to view excellent models of some of Durban’s most interesting buildings. One of the most popular features of the layout is a rail network with trains continually on the go. There is also an airport complete with airplanes. The harbor scene is very realistic and features a tug and ship traveling around the harbor. There is a railway bridge across the harbor and trains need to stop every now and then while the bridge is lifted to let a ship through. The little Town has a small refreshment kiosk where cooldrinks and snacks may be purchased the venue is also available for children birthday parties. Mini Town is a nice place to take the young member of the family for an outing. The weekends are the best times to goto to mini Town.”
