Studio City has a ton of sushi restaurants, pizza places, fantastic restaurants, another Trader Joes, and Fed Ex Kinkos.... Banks.... Farmers market on Sundays. It has a nice buzz. Its a lively community near Laurel Canyon Blvd.
The local scene belongs to Ventura Boulevard in the Valley. The movies at Universal Studios is great. Go to Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood and Sunset & Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood for the young, hip scene. Then, there's always downtown Los Angeles. That's a big scene now. :-)
