Arguably the most beautiful place on Earth! So much to see from your car, on short hikes, or extended backpacking trips! Lots of wildlife, mountain lakes, flora, and (a few) glaciers. Be sure to drive Going to the Sun road, and hike Avalanche Lake and Hidden Lake trails.
Because there is so much to do in such a big place, best advice I could give is to plan your adventure out before arriving. If you are visiting during the summer, make sure you are in the Park by 8am because traffic gets backed up and you might not get parking spots along the way. If you are…
Honestly, I think Glacier National Park is way better than Yellowstone. The scenery is better and the crowds are smaller. Also, if you're heading up and going through Choteau, stop at The Log Cabin for an amazing selection of freshly made pies.
