Also known as Penang Municipal Park, but better known locally as Youth Park, is a recreational park & green lung on the island with large open spaces, large matured trees & park facilities. Popular for outdoor activities & exercises. Accessed by vehicles is by a single one-way route, entering through Persiaran Kuari, off Jalan Utama (formerly known as Western Road).

RECREATION PARK. YOU CAN CLIMB PENANG HILL FROM HERE. You can go to jalan bagan jermal to take bus no 10 to youth park and botanical garden. come back take the same bus and stop at gurney drive

It is well-maintained and clean where one can picnic, sit under the shade of the trees, click photographs, jog, cycle, take a splash in the pool, children can unwind at the playground while you can lay on the lawn to catch up with fresh air.
