Lawrenceville neighborhood. Disturbingly authentic patisserie with decadent French pastries that are worth the long weekend lines!
Best French bakery in the city. Surprisingly cheap, amazing desserts, and french-style sandwiches (bread & meat). Grab & go.
GREAT little French bakery--excellent pastries, fresh breads, sandwiches and more

“The BEST Italian food in Pittsburgh, everything is made in house from scratch by an Italian family from Lucca, pasta made by hand daily by the mom <3 The tiramisu is legendary. Stop next door at The Grapperia--a grappa bar owned by the same family--and try my favorite cocktail, the LaVanda, or grab a bottle of wine to enjoy over dinner next door. They dont take reservations at Piccolo and it can be hard to get a table on a busy night, but lunchtime is a great way to try the cuisine if you cant beat the dinner crowd”
